Thank you for your interest in volunteering at COTS

Hundreds of volunteers give over 40,000 hours a year of their precious time to our work — the equivalent of about 21 full-time employees. We look forward to getting to know you, learning about your talents and interests, and matching you to just the right volunteer opportunity.

See below for the volunteer opportunities we have available at COTS.

QUESTIONS? Contact the Volunteer Coordinator at or (707) 765-6530 X 136.

If you are interested in volunteering, you must fill out a volunteer waiver and complete our required kitchen training before you can begin your first shift. These are both DocuSign documents you will need to complete and submit; they are emailed directly to our Volunteer Coordinator. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian will need to complete your waiver for you. You can find the links to these below:

Student Volunteers

If you are a student completing your volunteer hours as a requirement for school, please email us at Students generally volunteer in our Kitchen.

Interested students may also apply for the Mary Isaak Fellows Program, a structured volunteering and fundraising program open to a limited number of students in a competitive process.

All students under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian complete the Volunteer Waiver for Minors.
