People’s Village Sponsors are essential community partners in the launch of the People’s Village site. Each emergency shelter unit by QuickHaven costs just over $12,000. While initial purchase funds were secured by the City of Petaluma, additional funds are needed to ensure success.

COTS is seeking matching investments of $12,000 that will provide the wraparound services that will be essential in supporting residents in their housing and employment goals.

These funds will ensure that clients receive the comprehensive case management necessary to finding a path to permanent housing. COTS case management includes mental and physical healthcare, client enrichment, complete nutrition, and access to showers, bathrooms, laundry facilities.

This sponsorship level is paired with the opportunity to name a shelter unit after yourself, your family, or business, and may be paid over three years in installments of $4,000 per year.

Sponsors will be invited to a special outdoor tour of the site prior to launch to learn more about the program and the services their gifts sustain.

For more information on Sponsorships, please contact Jamieson Bunn, Director of Development, at jbunn@cots.org.

Note: The People’s Village site is a pilot project between COTS and the City of Petaluma, and we plan to learn from our experiences and adapt the program as necessary based on our findings. Should the program continue in its current form after three years, Sponsors will have the option to reaffirm their investment and naming rights at that time.
